Shelby Schoolfield, LPN, Medical Office Assistant Lead Shelby has been with Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Thimmappa since 2008. She believes that every patient should have the best experience possible when visiting the clinic and strives to meet this goal daily. Shelby is involved in all aspects of patient care from initial consultations to post op visits. She believes teamwork and patient education are what makes the clinic unique and exceptional.

Rachel Sobota, RN, First Assist Rachel has been a nurse for 16 years. Prior to starting work for Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Thimmappa 3.5 years ago, she spent 6 years as a surgical nurse at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and SW Regional Ambulatory Center. In conjunction she spent 8 years with her own business as an RNFA, assisting in a variety of specialties. Rachel attended the University of Minnesota and Dekalb College in Georgia before earning her RN at Clark College in Vancouver. She also attended Gateway College in Arizona to complete the specialized training for the Registered Nurse First Assistant certification. Rachel spends 3 days assisting in surgery and 2 days seeing patients in the office each week. She loves the fact that she has contact with patients in all aspects of their care: pre, intra and post-operatively. She finds it very rewarding to travel with the patient along their entire surgical journey.

Lisa Bowers, RN, First Assist Lisa has worked in the hospital setting at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for 32 years. She worked in surgery for over 25 years. Lisa works closely in the perioperative care of our patients in the operating room. she enjoys working here because of the high quality of care that is provided to our patients. Lisa is excited to be able to follow our patients through their entire surgical process.

Shannon McVay, Medical Assistant Shannon is a Certified Medical Assistant who has worked in the medical field for over 5 years. She loves being part of a team that has compassion and understanding for patients and other team members. Shannon assists both surgeons with initial consults, procedures, patient, and post-op care. She enjoys working with all patients from pediatrics, geriatrics, cosmetic, to breast reconstruction. Patient and continuity of care is the most important thing to her. She loves what she does, and enjoys assisting all patients along their journey whether it be reconstruction or cosmetic.

Melissa Mohr, Pre-Surgery Coordinator Melissa has been with Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Thimmappa since 2009. She has been in the medical field for 10 years and takes great pride in making each patient feel comfortable and confident – handling everything from the initial consultation appointment to recovery arrangements after their procedure. Excellence in customer service is a top priority of Melissa's and she is very involved in the day to day operations of the practice.

Ashley Brierley, Esthetician & Patient Access Representative Ashley likes working with patients’ cosmetic needs/goals and setting them up with the appropriate consultation. She is more than happy answering any questions or concerns a patient may have about any products/procedures we offer. She loves that we are able to be part of the breast cancer recovery process.
